Stadol Treatment

Stadol ® is the trade name for generic Butorphanol, a mixed agonist-antagonist, opioid analgesic. Similar to other narcotic medication, Stadol treatment is used to mange moderate to severe pain, often involving surgery.

Stadol Injection and Stadol NS Nasal Spray, butorphanol tartrates, are indicated for pain management when the administration of opioid analgesics is recommended.

You may have started self-medicating surgical pain, chronic pain, or some other painful physical disorder under doctor’s care and prescription.

Many of our patients began Stadol treatment with low doses of medication. Later they increased their dosage to self-advised, non-medical levels, according to popular medicine trends in the U.S. (see report) (i). Dependency took over. Many patients dependent on Stadol treatment now continue to self-medicate to avoid withdrawal.

The Waismann Method of Rapid Detoxification recognizes Stadol dependency as a disorder of the central nervous system due to the long-term intake of synthetic opiates. Chronic Stadol use causes the brain to stop producing natural painkillers. As the body craves pain relief, dependency results. A break in the supply of chronic Stadol treatment causes painful withdrawal syndrome.

Waismann offers a humane and effective procedure for patients dependent on Stadol treatment or other opiate prescriptions to end the hopeless cycle.

The Waismann Method for Stadol Treatment

Patients at the Waismann Method of Rapid Detoxification undergo an anesthesia-assisted procedure that spares them much of the painful, agonizing symptoms of withdrawal and opiate dependency from Stadol treatment.

The Waismann Method reverses a patient’s physical dependency on prescription painkillers without unnecessary suffering, fear, or shame—which many say they have experienced at traditional detox programs.

Under anesthesia, the patient sleeps through moments of withdrawal syndrome while the rapid detoxification procedure cleanses the brain of relentless opioids. Detoxification eliminates Stadol treatment’s opiates in the body and the patient’s conscious cravings from withdrawal syndrome.

“The Waismann Method gave me my life back,” says R.G. following his rapid detoxification. “I don't know how (else) I would have ever recaptured my life.”

Optional After-Care and Treatment Center

The Waismann Method of Rapid Detoxification also proposes an after-care live-in support program, called Domus Retreat. After detoxification, Stadol treatment patients rest in a peaceful environment conceived for dignity, comfort, respect, and optimism.
Our services at Domus Retreat include:

  • Intensive psychotherapy
  • Focus on the patient’s core thinking patterns
  • Considering behaviors that contribute to dependency
  • Individualized treatment in private settings
  • Small group interaction
  • Guest limits of only 6 patients at one time.

…All designed to help our patients avoid unhealthy repetition and relapse.

Domus Retreat skillfully blends our personalized therapy with ultra-luxurious spa elements in order to affect significant and lasting change for sustained recovery.
